Exciting red dissected leaves and graceful branching are just a few of the great characteristics. Has low branching and a broad, rounded shape. The leaves are purplish red throughout growing season and change to an even richer red as fall comes. Beautiful small tree that will attract attention.

This tree does better in partial shade because the leaves tend to get scorched in full sun in southern climates. Should avoid planting in locations that are hot and dry and be in a place that is protected from strong winds. It does not have any serious insect or disease problems and is easily grown in moist, well drained soils.
