Erianthus ravennae
RAVENNA GRASS
Gigantic grass that has a superb upright, arching habit. The foliage reaches a height of 5 feet and in the fall turns shades of orange, tan, beige, and purple. The feathery plumes appear in late summer and are atop tall stems. Flowers are silvery with a hint of purple and fade to white in the fall. It is deer resistant, as well as, drought and salt tolerant. This is a grass that will attract a lot of attention and deserves to be in a place where it can be the focal point.
