Cardinal Flower Lobelia

If you want a hummingbird magent than Lobelia cardinalis is the plant. The fire red flower spikes appear in late summer and continue flowering into the fall. The upright habit displays the fire hot flowers perfectly for all to see. Excellent plant for moist soils but will tolerate average soils just as well. Native to much of the United States.
