Brilliant tangerine-orange flowers are atop wiry, pubescent stems. The flowers have a satiny texture and are crepe-like. They have a dark, velvety seed capsule that is surrounded by dark purple stamens. Hummingbirds are attracted to the flowers and it is deer and rabbit resistant. Extremely showy plant that will attract attention in the garden.
