Glossy green foliage is divided into oval to lance-shaped leaflets. Excellent cut flower. Selected as the 2004 Dried Cut Flower of the Year by the Assoc of Specialty Cut Flower Growers.

Peonies are easy to grow and long lived, often living 50 years or more. Can be utilized in many ways including mass plantings, cutting gardens, hedges, and as a specimen plant. Choose a site with rich, well drained, neutral soil away from high winds. Peonies prefer full sun for best flower production however some afternoon shade can help prolong the life of the flowers espicially in the south. Plant the eyes to a depth of 1½"-2" deep. Moving or dividing plants too often will pevent flowering. |
