Romence Gardens is a family owned greenhouse that grows and sells plants, but gardening service is also a specialty here. Advice on selecting plants, on plant culture, and offering general design ideas are some of the ways we help gardeners every day. We also enjoy helping them create and plant containers and do custom potting for a great number of satisfied customers. But sometimes larger projects come along and more detailed help is needed such as paper-drawn CAD plans, on-site advice, or more extensive plant lists. Now, with new technology and designers at Romence Gardens we will be able to give better and more in-depth assistance. Here's a step by step plan of how we work with those of you who choose one of our garden design packages listed farther below.

• We will first have you fill out a questionnaire. This will consist of questions regarding dimensions of the area where the garden is to be constructed, sun exposure, soil type, and some questions about your personal preferences for types of plants and colors. You will also be asked to provide pictures of the area.
• When your answers are received, one of our garden designers will review this information and schedule a meeting with you for a consultation. The designer will go over your answers and seek what other information is still needed based on his/her preparatory work. If you decide to go ahead you will be asked for a down payment at this time and will also be given a date for completion of the design.
• The designer's research, experience, and general horticultural knowledge will then be utilized to prepare your garden design. When it nears completion you will be contacted again. One revision will be offered if needed and then the plan will be printed and presented to you.

**NOTE**This service is available for gardeners outside the Grand Rapids area but consultations would need be done over the phone and via email or if necessary through online computer conferencing. Non local customers will receive full size versions of all printouts in the mail. **Installation in the Grand Rapids area is available through outside subcontractors and can be arranged through Romence Gardens. Pricing for installation is determined on a project by project basis and is not included in the pricing below. Garden Design Service I This is for gardens and foundations plantings that are 20 ft or less in length and do not exceed 200 square ft. This package includes:

• Initial 30 minute in store design consultation
• One follow up revision if necessary
• Full design presentation upon completion
• 1 full scale, color copy of the Design Plan
• Materials list and Plant Schedule

Cost for this Design Service is $200.00 From this amount $100.00 can be applied towards the purchase of plant material at Romence Gardens.
Garden Design Service II This is for gardens and foundation planting areas that are 40 ft or less in length and do not exceed 400 square ft. This package includes:

• Initial 45 minute in store design consultation
• One follow up revision if necessary
• Virtual 2-D cross section view(s) of the deigned areas
• Full design presentation upon completion
• 1 full scale, color copy of the Design Plan
• Materials list and Plant Schedule

Cost for this Design Service is $350.00 From this amount $150.00 can be applied towards the purchase of plant material at Romence Gardens.
Garden Design Service III This is for gardens and foundation planting areas that are 60 ft or less in length and do not exceed 600 square ft. This package includes:

• Initial 45 minute in store design consultation
• 1 hour on-site design consultation
• One follow up revision if necessary
• Full design presentation upon completion including 2-D cross section view of the designed area with a 3-D walk through of your design
• 2 full scale, color copy of the Design Plan
• Materials list and Plant Schedule
• Maintenance schedule for all plants included in your design
• Free delivery of plant materials included in your design

Cost for this Design Service is $700.00 From this amount $200.00 can be applied towards the purchase of plant material at Romence Gardens.
